Opened dry food:
When properly stored (cool, below 20 degrees, dry, dark) we give a shelf life guarantee of the closed bag (MHD). The recommendation to use up the opened food bag within 4 months is based on the possible loss of taste and smell that can occur when the food bag is open. In sensitive animals, this can lead to a refusal to eat, although the food is still perfectly edible. Neither nutrient nor vitamin loss is to be expected.

Opened canned food:
We recommend emptying the food out into a plastic or porcelain container. Covered, sealed in the refrigerator. Leaving the food in the can may change the taste and this could reduce acceptance. Wet food can be frozen immediately after opening, similarly to a piece of cooked meat.

Salmon hemp oil, Arthro complex and wet food should always be stored in the fridge after opening.

All other feeds at normal room temperature below 25°C, airtight, dry and if possible in darkness.
