in case of overweight
CAT LOW FAT
Dietetic complete feed for adult cats for a reduction of excessive body weight
Overweight cats have particular requirements in respect of their diet. A precisely
balanced, low-fat and filling diet makes a decisive contribution to reducing body weight and helps to achieve peak physical condition. An ideal dietary base is provided by animal protein. CAT LOW FAT takes the best possible account of the needs of overweight cats and features an intentionally low energy content and a high level of tastiness. The formula contains only selected ingredients, high-quality animal protein, taurine, L-carnitine and New Zealand green-lipped mussels. The shape and structure of the kibble ensure the best acceptance, encourage chewing and enhance the dental care effect. ATTENTION: For cats, a transition period when starting the diet is advised.Analytical constituents:

RECOMMENDED QUANTITIES / DAY
Until target body weight is achieved and after if required to maintain target bodyweight. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use. Water should be available at all times.
ATTENTION: The amount of food should be adjusted according to the target weight. Consider a transition of about four weeks. The amounts given in grams are guidelines and may vary depending on the activity, age and individual needs of the dogs/cats.
In order to obtain an efficient weight loss or the maintenance of the ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded.
ATTENTION: Transition: in the beginning you should feed the amount of food given in the table under 'start' for about four weeks. Afterwards, a reduction to the amount of food given in the table under 'after 4 weeks' is recommended. If there is a significant difference between the initial weight and the target weight of the dog/the cat, we recommend to adjust the amount of food according to the initial weight first. After an acclimatisation period of about two or four weeks, the ration may be reduced gradually to the amount recommended for the target weight. You should avoid a too fast weight loss. As a general rule, calculate a weight loss of about 1 or 2 % per week. We will be happy to help you create a diet plan or you will find detailed information here.
