With chronic kidney disease, the kidneys increasingly lose their ability to detoxify the body naturally. Depending on the stage of the disease, the excretion of harmful metabolic waste products is insufficient. Cats with chronic kidney disease require a high-energy diet with a reduced protein, phosphorus and sodium content. CAT LOW PROTEIN is a particularly tasty kidney diet with a low yet high-quality protein content and a minimum of phosphorus and sodium. The high demand of cats for the vital nutrient taurine is safely met by the recipe. Due to the reduced protein content, CAT LOW PROTEIN is also suitable for feeding in case of restricted protein metabolism. The form and structure of the kibble ensure the best palatability, encourage intensive chewing and contribute to regular dental care. CAT LOW PROTEIN is strongly recommended for short-haired and long-haired cats.

The CAT LOW PROTEIN dietary product was especially developed for cats with chronic kidney failure and can also be used for certain liver problems.
