Cats with Diabetes mellitus have particular demands on their diet. A precisely balanced, tasty and carbohydrate-controlled diet can help achieve peak physical condition and contribute to regulating the glucose supply. CAT LOW CARB meets this requirement through the selection of high-quality meat components and the use of complex, slowly available carbohydrates such as pumpkin. The usual rise in blood sugar levels after a meal can thus be slowed down and a stabilisation of the diabetic patient achieved.
CAT LOW CARB has an increased content of taurine, essential fatty acids and cell-protecting antioxidants.

The feeding of the diabetes food depends on the respective insulin preparation. Often, feeding twice a day or small portions throughout the day are recommended.
