MCT-Oil - Supplementary feed for dogs and cats

Medium-chain fatty acids (MCT), especially caprylic and capric acid, offer an alternative source of energy and can specifically support the brain function of dogs. MCT can stimulate brain metabolism and improve energy supply, especially to the nervous system in the case of age-related impaired glucose metabolism. Older animals and dogs for which special support of brain function is recommended can benefit from medium-chain fatty acids. A stable energy supply to the brain can contribute to improved well-being. The flavour-neutral oil ensures good acceptance and has an ideal ratio of caprylic to capric acid.

FEEDING INFORMATION: MCT-ÖL should be introduced slowly and mixed with food over several meals a day. Start with a quarter of the recommended daily amount and increase gradually over a week. If necessary, increase by 0.5 ml every three days up to the recommended amount for sensitive animals.

The amounts of food specified are guidelines and may vary depending on the animal and the indication.
