In dogs, hyperacidity of the stomach often manifests itself in grass-eating. Other signs may include an unpleasant mouth odor and regurgitation of yellowish mucus, especially in the morning or after a long break from eating. There are many possible causes of stomach problems and they should be investigated by a vet if the symptoms persist.

Gastro-Komplex includes selected plants which contain protective mucilage and digestive bitter substances. This combination can help to soothe the irritated stomach lining and at the same time support regular digestion and intestinal function.

Minerals such as clinoptilolite and bentonite, obtained from volcanic rock, are characterized by a special crystalline structure. Cavities and pores can bind harmful substances and germs, relieve the digestive tract and support gastrointestinal health. The minerals used have numerous positively charged ions that help to reduce excess acidity in the stomach and can therefore contribute to a regular gastric environment and to soothing the stomach. Bentonite is also known for its water-binding and swelling properties, which can have a positive effect on the consistency of faeces and support the emptying of the anal glands.
